Many of these small chapels lie dormant today. Once set and organized for worship the pews are now in disarray, things long forgotten are stored in the dry dusty interior and the windows are clouded over. These were once a hub of life activities in small communities. They are echoes of sermons, wedding, family reunions, memorail services, and ...community picnics. This humble piece of architecture speaks about God to all who pass by. This little chapel resides near the Edisto River in South Carolina, but it could be anywhere because of what it represents.
